The Shipman Mansion will be open for tours by appointment on April 6 from 1-4 and April 7 from 1-4.    Open Houses for May will be listed when scheduled.  To schedule an appointment, please send an email to shipmanmansion@gmail.com and list Open House in the subject line. For appointments at other times, please call 856-986-7969. 

The Shipman Mansion is located at 221 Edgewater Avenue in Edgewater Park, NJ.

Spring Lecture Series

March 20 - Hal Taylor  - Hal Taylor, a well-known author, comes back to Shipman to discuss his book “Before Penn” that examines the early European settlers and their contentious relationships while vying for control of the Del. April 17 - Richard Barrios - Richard, an award-winning author, comes back to Shipman to share his insights into the world of Hollywood

May 22 - Paul Schopp - Paul Schopp, an award-wining historian, returns to Shipman with another of his fascinating talks on Delaware River Steamers

Summer Concert Series

Concerts will be held this summer on June 12, June 26, July 10, July 24 and August 7  Check back for the listing of the bands that will be playing at each concert event.

Directions

From the South: Take Rt 130 North. Make right for Woodlane Road jug handle. Cross over Rt 130. Follow Woodlane Rd, across railroad tracks to traffic light, cross over Warren St. make right on Cottage Ave. Make left onto Edgewater Ave. Mansion is on the left. 

From the North: Rt 130 South past Burlington. Make right on Beverly road. Make right on Park Ave, Make left on Cottage Ave, Make right onto Edgewater Ave. Mansion is on the left. 

From the East and Willingboro: Take Woodlane Road west, Woodlane Rd becomes Levitt Parkway in Willingboro. Follow Levitt Pkwy to Rt 130. Cross over Rt 130 and continue on. Levitt Pkwy turns back to WoodLane. Continue Follow Woodlane Rd across railroad tracks to traffic light, cross over Warren St. make right on Cottage Ave. Make left onto Edgewater Ave. Mansion is on the left.
